I love the versatility of a jacket, especially one that I can wear with jeans or a skirt. And I especially love carrying only one color at a time across a row with no ends to tuck.
This easy slip stitch pattern satisfies all of the above and works up to a firm, warm jacket in lots of sizes. (Note that the slip stitch pattern doesn't allow for much ease, so pick your size accordingly).
Try one in your favorite colors; it's easier than you think!

I love red (well, actually I love all colors)! With plenty of sizes from which to choose, and vertical accents, this summery top is flattering for all figures. I made it in a linen-cotton blend for the coolest feel in hot weather.
Jockeying between too warm and too cold, I needed a sweater that kept my arms and back warm, but left my front more open more than a cardigan allowed. A shrug seemed the logical solution.
Side-to-side construction and simple knit and purl make this a breeze for beginners, and yarn choices are a-plenty...any DK or light worsted will do. Add some sparkle for a dressier look, or pair this with your favorite jeans.
Nice little short sleeved over-sweater with small cables and argyle pattern (for the less adventurous beginner, these can be omitted). Two buttons and I-cord edging complete the look; easy to knit yoke construction means no-sew finishing. Always lots of sizes, one for everyone.
Accentuate your curves with this soft, comfortable stretch top in Bamboo/Merino blend hand-dyed in Hawaii. Substitute sock yarn for a self-striping masterpiece.
Criss-cross straps add support to this super stylish tank top in lots of sizes. Easy and fun to knit with minimal seaming... put this one on your must have list, or make a great gift for the young junior looking for something cool!
I'm a big fan of green and knitting on size six needles. I designed this lightweight sweater to cover and flatter everything that lives below my waist, and I think the shape of this will look great on everyone!
Simple decreases give the flattering shape, while cables elongate and add elegance.
Written with easy to follow directions in ten sizes, this will be a timeless piece and a fun knit for all.
